rosy luna moth

did you hear the news... i love bug... these are two pretty big designs of a luna moth and swarm of rosy maple moths. you can see on the rosy maple that i ran out of one dye lot of blue so it charmingly kinda changes shade halfway through. or maybe you didn't notice, and now i've just revealed a secret to you...

this was the first time i did two rows of moss stitch around a tapestry and then a scallop edge. it adds such a nice little frame effect, don't you think?
